Community Involvement

I believe that being involved in your community not only strengthens the community but you as an individual.

I am currently a member of the Antigo Elks Lodge #662 and have held various officer positions over the last 24 years including Exalted Ruler.  I was named Elk of the year for the 2008-2009 lodge year, received the outstanding service commendation for 2010-2011 and was Officer of the year for 2012-2013.  I currently serve as the Club Secretary.  I am a member of the Scholarship Committee.  Through the Elks National and State Foundations we provide scholarships to area youth to attend the university or technical college of their choice.  I also chair the Elk Teen of the Month recognition program.  Additionally I serve as President of the Past Exalted Ruler's association.

I am a member of Saint John Congregation in Antigo, where I serve as an Usher and a member of the Church Finance Board.   I also serve on the Finance Committee for All Saints School.

I am also a member of the Antigo Kiwanis Club, as a group we are dedicated to helping charitable organizations and the youth of our community.  We provide funding for youth groups and activities.  Additionally we provide a number of scholarships for graduating high school seniors.

I am a past chairman of the Republican Party of Langlade County and also served 6 years as the Sixth Ward alderman for the city of Antigo.

I am a member of the Antigo Bass Lake Country Club and have served as Club Treasurer and am a past Club President.
